Brain dead on double proxy

I'm trying a simple double proxy implementation where the files are rendered on another server, with the VisualPreview (SCE) tab still visible on the page

After spending too long troubleshooting, I simplified it to some very simple rules.

_regex=(^.*)[&?]remapit\=true=http://www.google.com/search?q=$1
_regex=(^[^?]*$)=$1?remapit=true
_regex=(^[^?]*\?.*$)=$1&remapit=true

The first rule seems to work properly.

If I go to http://sometsfile?remapit=true, I get a google page with the url in the search box.

The first seems to alsop remap to the second, but not really...

Is there something really obvious I am missing?

You need to specify the iwproxy port, otherwise the request will go straight to the customer web server.

D'oh!

Works beautifully now that I specified the port.

I just used localhost:1080... Is there an advantage to using the full server as opposed to localhost here?

Using localhost is fine.

Only advantage in specifying a hostname is if you had a multi-homed server and were being specific about which interfaces to connect through. Having said that I am not sure if you can even restrict iwproxy to specific interfaces, you can certainly do this for iw-webd or servletd.
