Save Changes Prompt

I'm running a finance programme that uses Word macro to generate reports. Everytime the programme runs the macro, it'll prints out a list of data onto a new Word document and closes the macro after that.

Whenever this happens, the prompt whether to save/cancel the changes made onto the macro kept appearing.

On the Word macro, I've set :

documents("macrofilename.dot").close SaveChanges:=wdDoNotSaveChanges

yet it still prompts me for saving the changes of the macro file.

Any ideas guys?

set the Saved property to True - something like:

dim wordDoc as Word.Document 
set wordDoc= Word.Application.Documents("macrofilename.dot")

wordDoc.Saved = true
wordDoc.Close

set wordDoc = nothing
