Environment: TeamSite 6.5.0 SP1 on W2K Server (VMWare instance).
We've been experiencing intermittent errors on our production TeamSite box. The symptom is that for periods of time TeamSite will refuse to let users edit or submit files (this affects all users at the same time). We have been using this workarea successfully for the last month or so.
The symptoms are:
- When a user, logged in as an Administrator, attempted to edit a generated file she received a TeamSite Error dialog: "Not a writable workarea: [path to workarea]". This file was already locked from a previous edit yet she couldn't open it for editing again.
- "You do not have permission to read [path to workarea]" is displayed at the top of the file browser view with a blue icon containing an 'I' when the TeamSite server switches from operating normally to the error state. I was logged in, able to preview and edit files, and suddenly I couldn't.
- When I logout, login again and attempt to navigate back to the workarea it appears greyed out and inaccessible. Eventually I am able to get into this workarea again.
- After the "Interwoven TeamSite" service was restarted on this box I logged out, logged back in again and got the message "You do not have permission to read [path to workarea]" displayed at the top of the file browser view, and an IE warning dialog containing the text "ASSERTION FAILED: unable to locate node [path to directory in workarea]" popped up.
Has anyone seen this before, and/or have any recommendations as to where we can start looking to find the cause and fix it? It seems to come right after some time (30 mins to a couple of hours) for no discernible reason if we simply keep trying every now and then, but this behaviour is a serious problem for people trying to do any work with TeamSite.
I have screenshots of the above errors if that would be useful to anyone.
Cheers,
Koryn
