A CGI task can certainly follow an extrernal task. However, it won't "pop up" in the user's browser automatically. The user will have to explicitly start the task. It won't matter if immediate="t" is set or not.
Is it true that a CGI task cannot follow an external task?I have an external task that implements my DD and OD and would like a CGI task to follow the external and display an error message if the DD or OD fails. But the cgi task does not seem to work when placed after the external task. Is the best solution to this -1. Re-implement the external-task that does the DD and OD as a CGI that includes the error message.2. Place a dummy usertask betweeen the external task and the CGI task.?thanks in advance/nick
Thanks for the help. A CGI that does the OD and DD it is then.
