App Type

Guys.

When we open word and fill in the profile for Document Name, Client, Matter , Type etc etc the App Type is not set to WORD

Everything looks to be set in DB Admin ok but i just cant get the App Type to be set to word

Any ideas as to what i can try?

Have you created the App Setup entry for Microsoft Word and selected the type as Word?

i.e. In Db Admin in App Setup-> Add

application Name: Microsoft Word
Path: the path in which you have the installation in the client machine
type: word

you need to create the two of them, the type and the app setup entry

and also configure the Document Type Mapping to make it works ok

Have a look in server 8.0 manual at page no. 171
