ECM Connector 2.0: Getting complete directory

I would like to know is there any option/workaround that we can fetch the entire directory from MediaBin rather getting one asset at a time using ECM Connector 2.0?

Sorry, there is nothing in the ECM Connector that allows this right now. I believe MB has an export option that could be used to FTP the file into a TeamSite filesystem.

There is a feature request already filed for the ability to import a group of assets. I added this thread to the feature request.

I have a question: In your situation, would all files in the folder be the same type and use the same retrieval task? One of the usability issues that we face with this scenario is that folders often have non-heterogeneous collections, so you can't just choose a single retrieval task.

Couple of things, I wanted to request for this feature:
1. We need to fetch a whole direcotry in one shot using TeamSite - Import to the current directory.
2. We should be able to select multiple assets and these selected assets to be imported using the TeamSite - Import to the current directory.
3. Using the Templating we should be able to select only one asset at a time and selected asset to be fetched into the TeamSite repository.
4. Should be able to define the dynamic-path (other than default) to imported asset.

For your question,
Right now we want to fetch the same type of asset but there are strong chances that we may require to fetch the mixed types as well.

Please let me know if more information required from my end.

One last question on this topic: when you select multiple MediaBin files (or an entire directory) to be imported into TeamSite (via the "Import" menu option), do you want the raw MediaBin file to be imported, or do you need to select a rendition (for example, convert to 320x320 jpeg)?

Cliff, I think, we should have both the options either importing raw-asset or renditioned-asset. Btw, I want to import raw aseet right now.
