opendeploy (Server) service keep stopping

i notice open deploy service keep terminating within second after i started.
i can see this message in windows event log
"The java Virtual Machine has exited with a code of 18,the service is being stopped" since today.

i have attach the od.log from /odhome.things are working fine till today and nothing was changed.no datadeploy was used also

Something about the following messages makes me thing that something changed:

Hey,

I can see the error as ***ERROR -SQLException: User not found

It's due to something wrong with the schedDB.script file, causing issue while staring the OD server.

Do one thing goto >>OpenDeployNG\db directory.

Rename the schedDB.properties file to .bak, for example, schedDB.properties.bak and restart the OpenDeploy service.

Upon restarting the OD services, the schedDB.script file will be recreated

Please check the expiry date of OD in \etc\OD.lic (Opendeploy licence) file. If it expired then uninstall the OD base server and install again.

Hey AK...I am quite sure it's not related to expiry date of OD or anything related to OD.lic .

So suggest you to try with above suggested solution and let us know results.

The above suggestion is clearly a violation of licensing - if the license has expired you should contact your Autonomy Interwoven sales representative to purchase a new / extend your existing license -- unless you really like playing "catch me if you can"

I ran into the same issue as above (error code of 18). Renaming that file and restarting the OD service worked for me.

Just wanted to say that I just ran into a similar problem, except the error logged in the application viewer was:

[INDENT]The Java Virtual Machine has exited with a code of 3, the service is being stopped.[/INDENT]

When I tried to start the service via the service manager it gave me an error along the lines of (paraphrasing):

[INDENT]The service started and stopped. Sometimes services will do this when they have nothing to do.[/INDENT]

Which was very misleading. Turned out to be a problem with the licensing file. The server originally had a domain specified, but we had to move the server to another network to patch it and then move it back to it's original network.

In that process, the domain changed to "NoDomain" when running the TSlicinfo.exe

So, long story short, I had to generate a new license file for on the receiver.
