Requirement to show/hide the workarea

Hi,

TS65Sp1, Win2k Sp4.

Does anybody know the requirements a workarea must meet in order to show in the list of workareas in CCP (when logged in as editor)?

Reason I ask is that we sometimes have workareas that are not visible for editors even though the editor should have access to it based on the group-for-sharing. It mostly happens when ALL files inside the WA are marked 'read-only' and/or have a group-owner that the editor is not part of. Can this be part of the problem?

Do you use 'workarea_security' switch? (iw.cfg, iwserver Section) Is it 'on' or 'off'?

This means that if the logged-in user does not have even the read permission for a particular branch/ workarea, s/he would not be able to view that.

I know. But the question is different. Why don't users see this WA when they are part of the 'group for sharing'? Are there any other conditions that must be met?
