LiveSite Create Template problem

Installed LiveSite 2.2 successfully on Soloris 8.0 TeamSite 6.5 SP1 environment. I able to create sites/componants/Pages etc successfully, but
File > new Template is not active even if I am loged in as Master/Administrator.

Please provide possible reasons for the same.

Have you confirmed the template workarea permissions are set for your userid?

* Do you have at least 1 site created in a workarea in the /default store?

* File > New Template is only enabled when in a workarea of the /livesite/main/template branch. You must create a workarea in this branch before creating templates.

* As Akshat suggested, please ensure that you have file-system permissions to WRITE to the workarea in the /livesite/main/template branch. To get around this, create your own workarea in the branch as I suggest in the previous bullet.
