problem with teamsite installation

I am trying to install Teamsite 6.5 on Win 2000 SP4. the installation of TS65 went just fine, however, while installing TS service pack 2 i got this message

Windows error 3 occured while loading the Java VM

then i get this message afterwords: csiface failed at phase IW_INSTALL_MODE_INSTALL with unknows error

does that mean i dont have enough RAM and if not what does it mean.

How much RAM do you have?
At what point during the installation you get this error?
Did you have TeamSite on that maching earlier or is this a fresh install on that box?

i have 1G of Ram and it happened almost at the end of installation of TS6.5 SP2 and it is fresh install

What version of JVM do you have on the server? Are you trying to do a remote install or console install?

Thanks every one,

i think i got the problem solved here. Teamsite only supports up to JVM 1.4.2.

and i had 1.5 on the server already.. so after deleted it i was able to install the

SP2 smoothly
