How to Preview Word ,XL and PPT's in MediaBin

Hi,
I have installed windows 2003 on the machine where MediaBin server installed Even though I could not able to see preview of word and excel. Here are few points that I have taken from MediaBin asset server administration guide.

Microsoft® Office System 2003 should be installed on MediaBin
servers where high-quality Office document previews (including
Microsoft PowerPoint®, Word®, or Excel®) are desired. If Office
2003 is not available, Office 2000 will suffice.
If Office 2000 is not installed on the MediaBin Asset Server,
MediaBin will still display the internal document previews that are
included with some Office documents.

Is that a question or FYI? If it is a question then you would require MS Office to preview word, excel, ppts and also need Acrobat reader to preview pdfs.

These applications are used in conjunction with the Black Ice print driver. Installation instructions should have been included. If that is in place and things are still not working, please copy any job messages these files give on ingest. Note the job can succeed and still generate warning messages.

From an article created April 18, 2006 it states:

"You may not be able to preview Word 2003 files in MediaBin 3.0. This is because only Office 2000 files can be previewed in MB 3.0."

Which version of MediaBin are you using?
