GetEvents in perl

Hi ,
I have written a java module which gives me all the events in a workflow, i am using SOAP connector for that, and this causes it to be very slow, Can i have the same thing in perl......
Here is the code snapshot to get all the Events in java

WFEvents = wf.getEvents();
for (int i = 0; i < WFEvents.length; i++) {

// SET THE VARIABLES
ROLE = WFEvents.getRole();
NAME = WFEvents.getName();
OTHERID = WFEvents.getOtherTaskId();
TASKID = WFEvents.getTaskId();
OTHERNAME = WFEvents.getOtherTaskName();
TASKNAME = WFEvents.getTaskName();
USER = WFEvents.getUser().getShortName();
Comments = WFEvents.getComments();

Can this be converted in Perl, or Is there any module/method in perl that gives me the history of the workflow?

use TeamSite::WFtask;
use TeamSite::WFworkflow;

You will get how above can be done in perl.
