I am trying to create a directory using SFTP on a remote system. When I use the do_mkdir after creating the SFTP object, I recieve the following error.
Input must be eight bytes long at /

I am getting the error at the point if(!$sftp->do_mkdir($target,$attrb)) . Does anyone know why this error occurs and what is the solution?
