LIvesite CSS and Javascript include

I have a problem with including javascript and css into livesite pages. They do not get included inspite of me including them from the default.site, shared resources section. What could be the possible issues?

Is IIS - Teamsite integration for preview mandatory for the resources to get included?

Do you have them in the enabled section of the site resources? There are two sections, one to make them available, and one to make them active.
