User ID in Output File

Hello

Is there a way of adding the user-id of the person generating a page into the output file (using either <iw_perl> or <iw_value>)?

I've had a look at the documentation for <iw_perl> but I can't find anything that looks relevant.

Hi,

I am not too sure on this solution, but you can give it a try.

You can pass the user info in the DCR as item and get them in the tpl file as node to the output file.

From your PT you can get 'IWUSER' Environment variable or cookie's 'iw_user' key value (case sensitive both).
I'm not sure if that's documented/supported though

I was able to access the userid by using

I've got very little teamsite documentation (a green FormAPI developer's guide and a blue FormsPublisher Developer's Guide) and I couldn't find in either of these enough information about the environment passed through to presentation templates. I've looked through the pod for the tags and it doen't really mention much about it.

In the end to discover the environment variables, I just iterated over %ENV and dumped them out to a log file.

Which leads me to another question: am I missing a vast resource of documentation?
