Want dynamic change in the DCR

Hi,
After a long time logging to site

i have on dcr where i need to prepare the template such a way that it should create a drop down list depending on the logging type

means inside datacapture.cfg file i need to read the logging user name depending on that i need to prepare drop down how we are fetching the data for text field by using the tag

Write a script, call onload, then depending upon user name populate the drop down box.
