Is it possible to set a field as read-only in a Metadata form ? I need a solution through javascripts.

On the contrary, is it possible to use Form-API in a metadata form ??

You can mark fields in the metadata capture form as read-only - but that's a static setting within the DCT.

6.7.1 SP1 was the most recent rumored version of TeamSite that will potentially introduce FormAPI accessible metadata capture forms - so in terms of what is currently released - "no" - it is not possible to use FormAPI in the metadata form.
