OS Permissions Questiosn in Newest TS version.

PeteOlsen

Does the new Teamsite version allow the setting of permissions on files and directories via the CMS? Can this functionality be scripted?

I want to remove the necessity to set permissions in the OS filesystem so that my CMS managers can make permission changes without knowledge if the OS.

Thanks
Pete.

Yes, there's an option in 6.7 to set permissions within the GUI.

That said, you probably don't want users doing it. Far better to use submit.cfg so you can guarantee that permissions are being enforced according to your particular business rules.
