TeamSite 5.5 Menu Customization question

I'm trying to customize the action of the File->Delete menu option. I can remove it and add a new custom menu pretty easy but it is in the wrong place (too low).

So can I

a. redefine what url/cgi is called when File->delete is selected

or

b. Set the position at which my new Delete menu item appears at within the file menu


Yes, I know 5.5 is dead, but my manager won't let me upgrade to 6.x until later this year.

Unless I recall incorrectly - 5.5 does not provide sufficient flexibility for you to do what you want. I do not believe there is a way to change the existing File > Delete menu functionality, so you'd have to remove it from the menu list via the iw.cfg settings, and then you'd add your own custom menu item for it which, I believe, will always get appended onto the end of the list of menu options.

Tell your manager that when they finally let you upgrade to a supported version of the product - you'll be able to place your custom menu item where you want it.
