DCT - How to restrict User from entering UNICODE charactors

Hi All,
In the DCT how can I restrict user from entering charactors other than
Ascii charactors.
ie I need to restrict unicode charactors/special charactors like ( Alt+6321) etc etc.

Any help greatly appreiciated. I am using TS 6.1 under win 2003 server.

Validation regex may be a good start. Something like the following:
<text validation-regex="^[\x01-\x7F]*$" ...>

Yes, and for perl you have to either stop users to enter or escape the special characters in use.

Unicode support was introduced with Perl 5.6 (Spring 2000) and has matured significantly under Perl 5.8 (fall 2002).
Current TS iwperl is actually vendor's incarnation of Perl v5.8.2. Take a look here and (for gory details) here
