Can I paste image in VFE

Hi ,

Using TS 6.5 Sp1 win 2003.

We have a requirement to insert image into VFE . But when we edit the DCR again ..the image vanishes .
What is the best way to insert image in VFE ?
I donot want to give the link of image . I want the actuall image to appear in VFE .

There are no OOTB mechanisms. VFE is WYSIWYG browser based HTML editor. So, if there is no HTML "translation" for certain
formatting this formatting will not be retained.

In theory what you can do is to upload an image to dedicated iw-store location and automatically create/modify an appropriate <img>.
If you check in "View Source" mode you'll see that it's similar to what VF itself does when you paste images. If I recall correctly,
Image Files are saved locally somewhere under User's "Documents and Settings", you may be able to upload from there.

It won't be trivial though...

and also, are you sure you fully understand the technologies for the Web? Have you ever been able to paste an image to a, say, Frontpage and successfully publish this (without any links) on the internet?
