Editing File

Konidala

After uploading the edited file the changes are not reflected immediately. It takes around 10 minutes to 30 minutes to see the changes on TeamSite. Has anyone encountered similar problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
what OS and TS version are you using?
What do you mean with "...see the changes on TeamSite..."?
Do you try to preview a HTML page on a custom installed webserver? If so, it could be a caching problem of the webserver...

Things to be clarified:

1. What environment is being used?

2. Files gets edited through a workflow or directly thru TS GUI?

Migrateduser

I was encountering somewhat similar issues when users were editing DCR's. Run iwfsck against your store to check for errors. When I did it I found out that my backing store was messed up so bad that I had to do an iwmigrate and make a new store.

I have seen this issue in I think TS 6.5 w/SP1 and having JRE 1.5.x. We started seeing it when JRE 1.5 was installed on clients. Reverting them back to 1.4.x or upgrading TS w SP2 I think might fix this issue.

TS 6.5 SP2
Windows 2003

Files are edited using TS ContentCenter. After uploading the edited files when I preview it doesn't show the updated content.

Hi,
if you use IIS6 for previewing your files, check this:
