I am using teamsite 6.5 .I don't want to initiate the workflow from some
files so I want to retrieve the file name before initiation of workflow. How could i find the file name which attach with the workflow.

Ex.

I dont want that a user can invoke a workflow form

Y:/default/main/workarea/work/public/test.html

so How could I found the file name in workflow.

Your use case is not well thought out (or well explained one of the two). But to answer your question, there are perl modules available to provide this information

Check the WF manual, there are also perldocs available:

It seems that he wants to block WF instantiation for certain files.
If that's the case, "__VALUE__('iw_file')" inside wft's template_script tag evaluates to array of attached files/dirs names.

I agree that UC is lacking. For example, offending assets can be added to active WF after job initiation, etc
