WorkRoute - tracks project status, identifies bottlenecks, analyzes

Dear members,
I am very new to Worksite and WorkRoute. As I am going through some documentations, the following features of WorkRoute catch my eyes.

"With WorkRoute, your organization simplifies and tracks project status, identifies bottlenecks, analyzes key metrics and detects exceptions—enabling faster, more informed decisions and action."

May I know how exactly WorkRoute tracks project status and identifies bottlenecks? I have been searching up and down, unfortunately can't find any examples or screen shots that show me these advantages. Please help. Thank you!

1. As a project manager, how can I track who is the current process assignee and what's its status in Worksite MP, i.e. is the current active process still in pending, accepted, or have already passed due? I believe the Workflow Watchlist doesn't display this kind of statuses. This status information would help the project manager to follow up with the process assignee before it dues.

2. In a model, there is a process that requires ALL members of a workgroup's approval before proceeding to the next process. How can I implement it? What kind of nodes I should use? Should I use Voting Activity?

WorkRouteMP - This is just a tool where you can create your business processes (or workflow templates) and these workflows will be published to the WorkSite MP. Hope this is clear now.

Second thing, you need to create the workspaces, projects, templates as per your requirement. You can program the custom functionality using the WOM API.

At very high level, I will suggest you to go thru with the WorkRoute developement guide. I will try checking your requirement and writing sugestions on it.
