redraw a dcr

Hi all,

I'm on TS 6.5 and would like to redraw a dcr when I've changed an item in the dcr so that another -select box- is getting refreshed. IWDatacapture.redraw(); does not seem to exsist anymore and I'd like to avoid pressing F5.

any ideas.

I'm working with the same thing but my drop down list is being populated without any problem (and without using refresh or redraw, etc.). Attach your code -- maybe it's something else.

I could be wrong but I believe that code is depricated in 6.x. I dont believe that you need that code for the form to redraw which is a good thing. If your code is not working then I would look at the bit that that creates the options object. Not the redraw. Also make sure that the bit that is populating the options is being called only after the form has been fully loaded. Look at the FormAPI PDF and search for init();

You're absolutely right. With the 6.x interface, there is no need for an explicit redraw because there are many more API functions which do this for you.

So, hollis, you may want to review the setOptions function in the FormAPI documentation.
