Large DCR's causing IE to crash

I'm having a problem with 6.5. For some of my larger DCRs if I create a new data record the DCT works fine. But if I open an existing DCR that contains a lot of replicants then sometimes my whole computer freaks out and its all I can do to prevent my computer from crashing. The DCT produces a series of tabed product pages. The general fields are outside of containers and the page specific fields are within containers. There is a set of radio buttons to control the display of the large containers. There are 93 items and about 12 containers.

I just located another post indicating that there is a patch that fixes this bug 64368. I'm going to try installing a patch before digging into this much more. There is no point in posting my DCR because this is happening on many DCT's and its happening because there is more data to load than IE can handle. I have been able to open the DCT using Mozilla/Gecko type browsers. This is not a visual format or FormAPI issue.

No, Its a normal client server relationship. I dont have the server specs handy. Its a duel cpu I know that. Its my computer thats crashing not the server.
