DataDeploy:Problem with deletion

Hi,
My datadeploy is working fine with a new DCR or an updated DCR.
However when a DCR is deleted, it is not deleting the corresponding record frm the database.
There is no error in the log file.
Any clue how can this be resolved

This functionality works, so there is something missing from your config

Also one other thing to check is if the user that you are using to connect to the database from DD config file, whether the DBA has given delete permission to that user or not.

I have seen multiple times that operations in DD fail because of insufficient priviledges to the DB account.

Also are you seeing any errors in the DD log file?

I still have that problem.did not get time to work on it.
I attended a IW training.I told abt this problem to the instructor.He said these should be done through some setting in the configuration file.-he s cud not say which config file.
let me know if this problem gets solved for u.

I'm having a similar problem. Attached is my datadeploy script and log. You'll see it's flagged for deletion but it's not being removed from the deltracker or table.

I've been using a datadeploy script, similar to that on my previous attachement. Firstly I'd deploy the file using the script. The database would update with an entry in the deltracker and custom table. Then I would delete the file from the workarea and submit to staging. Again I'd run the datadeploy script. By default it's set to deep, but it wasn't picked up the deletion, so I explicity set the path to the deleted file. The datadeploy logs show the file as being deleted, but it's not actually deleting from the database.

I'm a little confused here, surely when you specify visit-directory="deep" it should pick up the deletions or do you explicity have to indicate those files? Either way I'm getting no joy Smiley Sad
