Preview not functioning for one user

I'm facing this strange problem. When a particular user logins into TeamSite, the preview is not working for him. When clicked on preview it shows Preview & Generate Error. It is not working for any DCR of any type.

But for other users, it is working perfectly fine.

Any pointers??

Im currnetly on TS 6.5 SP1 on Solaris 8

User needs to have write permissions in preview directory. Please check if user is has appropriate rights to write in that directory

does the zz file get created ? likely permissions issue generated that file
