Difference Between the iwmtbatch and the iwmetadata commands
Aryan
Hello All,
I am new to MetaTagger.
Could anybody please tell me as to what is the difference between the iwmtbatch and the iwmetadata commands.
Both seem to be the same to me except for the fact that one sets the Extended attributes and the other does not.
Forgive me if I am being absurd.
Eagerly awaiting your guidance.
Thanks a lot,
Aryan.

iwmtbatch processes assets with MT and saves the results in the asset extended attributes. iwmetadata is just an accessor CLT similar to iwextattr.

From the "MetaTagger 4.1.2 Integration Guide"
iwmetadata
Can retrieve, set, delete, and copy subject metadata associated with TeamSite assets. It maps paths in the mounted file system to TeamSite repository paths.
