we have a requiremnet to create the footer html files from interwoven in differnt languages.We want to use a single template for that.Is it possible to generate more than One html file from a single template.

You could create multiple presentation layers (.TPL). In this way, 1 for each language you want and when user generates an HTML, user will be able to select from the radio button list of available presentations.

If you are planning to automate the entire process then you could either use workflow where an external task will run your script that will have code to generate HTMLs or add some logic in TPL script to check for an entry from DCR and based on that generate accordingly.
