Workspace Open Function

Hi,

we are looking for the function to open a workspace in the FileSite, just like the search-workspace-dialog (SearchWorkspaceExCmd) is doing it. We have an external application and we want to open a workspace direkt from this application in the FileSite.

Are you looking to display a dialog that user can use to select a workspace. If so, have you checked out the IMANEXT2Lib.IManBrowseCmd? This is a browse dialog that allows you to specify what type of WorkSite Objects the can see; thus you can display to users only workspaces.

If not, would you explain in more detail what you would like the dialog do for you?

Hi,

no we have a PM-System and we would open a workspace directly from this system in the FileSite. So we don't need a special dialog. We need the function after click on the "open"-button to use it out of the PM-System.

No, I want to open the workspace in the FileSite to see it's content.

FileSite does not support this, and there is no mechanism to accomplish this via the SDK.
