callserver issue

Hello,

I am using callserver to populate the parent frame, the callserver returns value for a hidden item in DCT. It is a onSave event, however, I need to click save twice to be able to get the item populated.

I tried to use setTimeout as the manual described, but it does now work.

Any help it's greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Most likely it is because the form has been saved when you hidden field is populated from your callserver script. What you may try to do is to have a callback function which your callserver script invokes.
This call back function should then populate the hidden field with the values returned and fire the event IWDatacapture.save().

This will do the trick and you should not be required to press save twice :-).
