iwov_xslt error -- immediate response is required

Hello!!!

ENV: TS6.1 SP1
I have an xml file and the same i'm importing it as a DCR. I configured this as xml dcr-type in templating.cfg. My requirement is to apply customer supplied xslt to this in PT . I decided to use iwov_xslt.pm.

The PT that i wrote is attached for your reference, where 'dcr.hw_xml_content.xml_content' will return original content in xml foramt :

'healthwise.xsl' file is in the '/templatedata//' folder.

I'm attaching the DCT (as datacapture.txt),DCR as test.txt and PT (as xml-transform.txt) for reference. When i'm trying to preview i'm getting the following error:

iwov_xslt could not open:

:\COM\main\myCOMplans\pages\WORKAREA\content\templatedata\Content_Conversion_Test\xmlConversion\presentation\xml-transform.tpl

Can anyone suggest me why this is behaving strangely?

I believe the way you reference your XSL file is not correct.

You'll probably find answers in this thread titled "IWOV_XSLT tag temporary files" which IMO deals with the same problem.

I hope you'll share more about any future problems/solutions you may or may not find in iwov_xslt. I see at least you found the utf8 output encoding workaround ;-) There is also the "iwov_xslt loses opening html tag" and I found also a possible input encoding problem that I think isn't on the forum yet...

Oh, and you realise that "immediate response is required" is a bit weird formulation... There's no SLA (promise of service) here. This isn't a support service by Interwoven. Instead, it's a place where developers (not IWOV personnel) exchange information, on a give-and-take basis.

Now, xsl is pointing to the correct location and now i'm getting following error:

this indicates a problem with the XSL file (the iwov_xslt tag will copy the XML and XSL to temporary locations. If all went well up to that point, tst_iwov_xslt_xsl_3348 is the temporary copy of healthwise.xsl. But then there's a parse error... so check whether the XSL is ok.

EDIT: btw, if you write

[HTML][/HTML] then healthwise.xsl must be in the same folder as the .tpl file (presumably that's templatedata\Content_Conversion_Test\xmlConversion\presentation). Is it?

XSL is ok and .xsl file is in the .tpl directory. Btw, if i open up the xml by including xsl its opening fine and xsl alone is also showing fine in the browser. so wondering why this is happening. Any ideas? , Attached the xsl for referrence.

hi. I'm not gonna study that XSL. It's too long for that.

I suggest you try running the XSLT from commandline. Basically, what iwov_xslt does is running the following command, and then some pre- and post- processing.

`iwgethome`/bin/XalanTransform $XML_path $XSL_path 1> OUTPUTFILE 2> ERRORFILE

You could also try workign with a severely simplified XSL file, and see how that works.

is working fine with 'mode=ptlocal' option and the problem is with the xslt. Now it's working fine. Thank you for your help.
