Troubleshooting OpenDeploy

Hello,
We have had several instances where OpenDeploy appears to hang. When this happens, the web page for OD cannot be displayed. The "Interwoven AccessService", "Interwoven OpenDeploy60 Service" and "Interwoven OpenDeploy UI Admin" services are shown to be running.
We've been able to resolve the issue by by cycling these services
1. What is the best way to troubleshoot this type of issue?
2. What logs should I examine when this occurs (please indicate location)?

Logs are your best bet. Also there is a recorded webcast up on Devnet (December 2005 time frame) on Expert Insights into OpenDeploy. The last part of that presentation covers troubleshooting hints.
As far as logs, the following contain the most system level info:
OD server:
odhome/od.log
odhome/log/host_odbase.log
Admin server:
odadminhome/odadmin/log/host_odadmin_servletd.log
Access Service
accessservicehome/log/*.log

We've been seeing similar issues with opendeploy recently in fact we have a problem right now where we are not able to deploy to our production servers, because jobs are stuck in a running state.
The only resolution I have ever seen to this issue involves a restart of the odbase server, but in this case we are retrying deployments and the jobs are still hanging.
I've seen this issue before and in most cases it involves mangled configuration files, a directory that doesn't exist, or an issue with one of the receiver agents. In most cases the base server can't recover from many seemingly innocuous failures and then causes these jobs to get stuck in a running state.
On my similar issue right now we do not have a resolution and have a ticket open with support.
