Character limit in Forms Publisher textarea?

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of characters entered in a Forms Publisher textarea?

For me, anytime I try to save > 2000 characters I get a javascirpt error (after I have defined the file name) with "Object does not define this property or method"

The line in the javascript that is erroring is
"if (str.search("]]>") < 0)"
in
function processForTransport(str)
{
if (str.search("]]>") < 0)
{
return IWSerializer.CDATASTART + str + IWSerializer.CDATAEND;
}
else
{
return XMLEscape(str);
}
}

Any ideas?

A quick search on the web seems to indicate that it is browser-dependent and usually between 32k and 64k of data - though there's some other indications that it might matter if the form is being processed with GET or POST ...
