Controlling Page navigation in DCT

Hi,
We are using TS 6.5, we have one requirement regarding hiding the page (out dct is multipage) on certain condition. If we make page visible false and if we go to that page, it gives standard javascript error regarding focus, as it cant find first item of page visible.
We have formAPI methods like IWDatacapture.getCurrentPageNumber () which gives current page number. But I dont know where to write this code so that as soon as we navigate to that page, I will get the page number and handle rest of the functionality.

My query is, is there any event to capture page navigation or do you have any work around this issue?
