InsertChildCustomField method is available in IMANADMIN.NRTDatabase.

These methods can only be performed by an administrator thus they are only exposed by the IManAdmin.dll.

You would need to run these licensing questions by someone who handles product licensing at Interwoven. Please try contacting your regional sales representative to get the appropriate contact information so that you can find out these answers from them.

From a technal perpective, the iManAdmin.dll is distributed with the WorkSite Web Component as well as the WorkSite iToolkit. When you write an application that uses this DLL, your exe should have this packed once its deployed. A Client machine can consume this as long as it can register that same IManAdmin.dll (that the exe uses). And of course, the user on that Client machine must also be able to login to the IManAdmin dms object as a member of the WorkSite Admin group.
