Hi,

Can some one tell me what is the significance of the site folder under the path iw-home/iwperl in Teamsite 6.5 (Windows platform) ?

TeamSite upgrade process will not overwrite or delete any perl module under site/lib folder. So you should use this folder to perl custom modules.

To start, "vendor/lib" is where Interwoven puts their modules. It looks like there are quite a few standard 5.8 mods there but those are typically in lib. "site/lib" is frequently used by developers to put their own modules into to isolate their stuff from Interwoven's and to keep the same name space.

I m trying to locate a path where I can put the Team.pm. I m trying to read the approvers from a xml file and show them in the workflow screens. When I select the workflow type and proceed I get an error stating Can't locate Teamsite\Team.pm @INC....

We had similar workflow setup running on a different environment in AIX which has got team.pm file but this file does not exist in windows NT box. I downloaded the file from AIX box and wondering where to place it in the NT box.

Pls advise.

I suggest putting it under site, as you pointed out. But, I also recommend creating a directory above Team.pm that might describe the category of module that Team.pm is. You may want to put other modules into this directory. So, let's say you have the following structure:

... iw-perl / site / XML / Team.pm

You would reference the above module in your script as:

use XML::Team;

I suggest putting it under site, as you pointed out. But, I also recommend creating a directory above Team.pm that might describe the category of module that Team.pm is. You may want to put other modules into this directory. So, let's say you have the following structure:

... iw-perl / site / XML / Team.pm

You would reference the above module in your script as:

use XML::Team;

... and also modify the PM file itself so that it defines its package name as "XML::Team" and not "TeamSite::Team" - though frankly if you want to keep TeamSite::Team (perhaps you have a lot of existing code that references it that way?) then yes - you can create a TeamSite directory under iw-perl/site/lib and then put the PM within that directory.
