OffSite 8.2: Initial sync'ing fails

wolfgang

I've installed OffSite 8.2. Now, when I start DeskSite or FileSite, I'm asked to synchronize, but this job pops up an error message telling me that there has been a problem instantiating a

SyncEventManager

object. The Details state that the property getter

SyncPrefs.ExcludeSubscribedMatterLists

were not available at that time.

I've searched the devnet forums and the Interwoven support site for technotes, but unfortunately, I haven't found anything useful.

Has anyone seen this kind of error message before and can point me to where I should look?

Found it: I was connecting with WorkSite databases of a 8.0 installation that seem to miss some tables compared to the 8.2 database scheme.

Now I have the "FullSyncAllThreadProc" error message that is described in
TechNote 92006-1685 ... :-|
