guess you're talking about the value you get out of

IWHOME/bin/iwgetlocation iwcgimount
TeamSite::Config::iwgetlocation('iwcgimount').

This will dynamically give you your non-caching mount point, which by default is at /.iwmnt

Basically you have 2 NFS mount points into the backing store. One does attribute caching (and write caching, IIRC) (/iwmnt) and one doesn't (/.iwmnt). The non-caching mount is slower, but the caching mount may give you out-of-date results, depending on the type of (almost) concurrent accesses.

Especially if using map_secondary_to_primary_gid=yes to work around the 16-group limit in UNIX, you must be careful what to use. I use (almost) exclusively /.iwmnt in all my scripts.

Do a devnet search on: caching iwmnt
... and you'll get plenty more info
