Metadata - Database deployment

Hello All,

Is it possible to deploy the metadata generated my Metatagger into the database?

In may case, I have integrated metatagger with MediabIn.

Hence I want to deploy the metadata extracted by MetaTagger from MediaBin assets in to the database.

THis is very common. MT stores the MetaData as Extended Attributes and DD/DAS takes those and soves them into the RDBMS of your choice

are you sure that DD/DAS will work with MediBin metadata? Did IWOV integrate MediaBin to THAT extent? if so, I'll take my hat off....

I guess ECM connector can bring the images from MediaBin, while attaching its native metadata in TeamSite format

IIRC, the ECM connector can also put the data into a field in a DCR.

The out-of-the-box integration with MediaBin stores information in the MediaBin RDBMS and can be queried using the MediaBin API's. While I don't believe the MediaBin RDBMS schema is a supported interface, you could probably use OpenDeploy/DD to do a database-to-database deployment. Could you elaborate on the business requirement - folks might be able to suggest common implementation patterns.
