Hoe to get the ceiling-dir or initial-dir attribute of browser item

In my DCT , i am using something like

here onCallout of the item aaaa,i am calling a js function create, and there i need that ceiling-dir attribute.

I have many such items in datacapture.cfg.
So i don't want to hardcode it.

Please Help me

According to a post by dave in this thread, browser item objects in 6.5 have attributes of initialDir and ceilingDir.
