Hi,

I wanted to know, how can I obtain the values captured in a workflow job such as a request number in the header templates(ccmail_header.tpl) which populates the To,cc and Subject fields.
Also can I obtain the workflow job number/id as the workflow job description (dcr.workflowinformation.workflow.description).
Where can I find documentation for obtaining values such as workflow owner,task owner,workflow/task id etc.
Any pointers would be helpful.

Where are you trying to access this information?
In the WFT - you cannot access the jobid as it hasn't been instantiated yet, however in an externaltask (or cgitask) you could access that information and adjust the job comment/description (see perldoc TeamSite::WFworkflow for details)

Although I haven't used the iw_solution_email.ipl script too much, I believe what it does is dump the contents of iwgetwfobj jobid and iwgetwfobj taskid into a file and then use XML parsing routines to extract the information - that being the case - you should be able to determine what the XPATH is for the information you're looking for, and add code into the PT portion to extract it.

At the end of the day - it's a Perl script - so as long as you make the proper task active you can run the command from the command line through a Perl debugger and figure out what you're looking for that way.
