Javascript error browsing forum

Anyone else getting javascript errors every time they access the forum, or am I the only one? Everything still appears to work fine, but it is a bit annoying.

Errors I am receiving:

Line: 1953
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method

Line: 2580
Error: 'bn_iframe' is null or not an object

Browser: IE6 SP2

Hmm, I guess my bonifaci filter is not working we well as I hoped.

I need to work on it more. Smiley Very Happy

No, no trouble reading the forums, though I use a man's browser, Mozilla. Smiley Tongue

Hi Jeff,

When did you start seeing this? I haven't seen this error using FireFox or Internet Explorer.

Where are you in forums when it appears? At the main level with all the categories, or when you are looking at the list of posts, or reading unique threads? Did it start recently? Did anything change on your computer recently?

Thanks!

Heather

bn_iframe is actually used within Baynote Search code. However, if you can provide more details regarding the time, browser info, OS info then I can run it through Baynote and debugger on test environment.

I see it every time I view the Forums index (i.e. click on the Forums link at the top of the page).
I don't see it when I view the list of posts in a forum.
I see it again when I view the contents of any thread.

I'm not sure how long this has been happening exactly, but it has been at least 1-2 weeks.

I'm on XP SP2 and I'm using IE6 SP2.

Nice to know that I'm not on crack. Or at least if I am, I'm not the only one, Smiley Wink

Disabling script debugging and unchecking "display a notification about every script error" suppresses the annoying error msgs.

That's true, but as a developer I like to always leave those on, Smiley Wink

Just to let you all know that a bug fix for this JavaScript error has been coded and will be deployed late wednesday night (6/21) per maintenance schedule.

Hopefully this deployment should fix the error but more we will know on Thursday morning.

jbonifaci

The fix appears to have worked, no more errors!!!

Thank you!!! Smiley Very Happy
