Problem with Including CSS in livesite component.

Including CSS files in the appearance XSL doesnot seems to work in livesite 2.2.1 used link tag . Below is the sample code which is working in Livesite 2.1 but not in 2.2.1.

We upgraded our XSL transformation engine in 2.2.1, so it may be doing stricter checking when transforming in HTML mode. (I think link elements are only supposed to appear in the head in HTML, although browsers might accept them other places.)

One workaround is posted on this thread, utilizing the page and site Shared Resources.

You could also try using javascript to apply the style sheet to the page. However this could cause unexpected behavior on pages that use the component (at least, the page author might not expect the behavior Smiley Wink

) so I would use the Shared Resources method instead.

The problem is that your <link> tag is likely written outside an <xsl:template> tag. For the most part, only elements in the xsl namespace are valid children of the <xsl:stylesheet> tag. To resolve the problem, make sure your <link> tag is nested within some <xsl:template> tag.

If this is not the case, please post the entire XSL page.
