Drag and drop from file system

Should drag and drop from the file system into a folder obey the 'Delete local files after import' setting?

Desksite/Mailsite 8.2 Patch 1

The observed behaviour is that it does not - ie we have delete local files set to Yes, and this works after a right-click>Import on a folder, but the file is not deleted after drag and drop.
