VisualFormat View Source trouble

We are running TS 6.5 SP2 on Windows 2000. In our DCTs, we have a few VisualFormat text-areas. The trouble is that sometimes right-clicking in such as text-area and selecting View Source results in a blank, read-only text-area. Sometimes clicking the View Source (<>) button doesn't provide better results either. Selecting View as WYSIWYG again restores the text-area's content and the editing features.

I can reproduce the problem sometimes: Type "abc" (in WYSIWYG mode), View Source (which works, sometimes), go back to WYSIWYG (which works, every time), try to View Source, and you may not be able to do anything in the text-area (not even see what's in there).

We're using Internet Explorer 6.0.2 xpsp2.
