Not able to set focus on hidden replicant

Hi,

I am using hidden replicant in my form.
When I am saving the form, I am getting error-not able to set focus on the item beacuse either its hidden or not enabled.
The hidden replicant is not the first item in my DCT.
This error is baecuse of some internal interwoven javascript and not in my code.If I make the hidden variable visible,then this error is gone.
I donot want to show the hidden replicant to the user.is there any workaround for this.

I haven't experienced this, but the first thing I would recommend doing is posting your DCT and any related FormAPI scripts.

Does this thread distinctly differ from your previous thread on the same topic?

The answer is the same - you cannot mark the first field in your DCT as hidden (direcly in the DCT or via FormAPI) - unless (for the latter) you can get the setFocus() call to work at the correct time to set the focus to the first non-hidden element before the Edit DCR form tries to set the focus on the first element. Where what is documented? setFocus? probably depends on the version of the software / manual you have - but if you've got a PDF you should be able to search for it.
