Livesite Database Connection Pooling

chandraiw

I get this error on Livesite 2.2.1 Dev (Windows Server 2003) when the OOTB DB component is being added to a page template:

java.lang.NullPointerException
 at com.interwoven.livesite.external.BaseExternal.getConnection(BaseExternal.java:289)
 at com.interwoven.livesite.external.impl.SQL.getJDBCXML(SQL.java:166)
 at com.interwoven.livesite.external.impl.SQL.execute(SQL.java:143)
 at com.interwoven.livesite.model.page.ComponentData.getDOM(ComponentData.java:339)
 ... 37 more

So, on Livesite Dev environment, for a livesite DB component to read the DB connection pooling config file, is there any environmental variable that needs to be set? (probably similar to the POOL_FACTORY variable declared in \enduser\enduser.bat file on Prod environment)

Thanks,
