new link in my Tasks pane of CCSTD interface

Hi,

Environment -

Windows 2000 SP 4
TeamSite 6.7.0

I am trying to add a link to the CCSTD interface in the my tasks pane, before the "new job" link. If you have any idea of the steps that need to be followed, can you please share that.

Have you tried anything ? The UICG manual will help. Workflow changes are made in the workflow.xml file. There is an example of how to add to the jobs/tasks screen.

This should go in ui_custom.xml. Dont know what to add to the action-list id though ...it should be some id pointing to CCSTD interface where i want the link displayed

I was trying something thats in the UICG manual

If deployed into the customer toolkit, this content could be accessed from a custom link in the
action list on the top, right hand side of ContentCenter Standard by placing this entry in
ui_custom.xml:

link id="cu.customer.writing_guide.link"
label="Writing Guide"

Its actually not reflecting on the CCSTD interface ...i dont see any "Writing Guide" link on the page (i have built the app using maketoolkits after changing the ui_custom.xml)
